Whether you want to bowl competitively, to expand your network of friends or as a fun way to exercise, we have competitions and teams suitable for you.
We offer Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Bowling with many of our Bowling Members enjoying the friendly social atmosphere that comes with Bowling. If you haven’t bowled before, we offer a “try before you buy”. Get a free lesson and see what all the fuss is about – you’ll be hooked!

A more detailed explanation of each of the categories is as follows:
Bowling: Bowling membership covers all the costs of registration with the governing body (The Royal) and also the state or regional area. At Asquith we have a rich tradition of playing at the state carnivals and winning pennant flags.
Junior: Our Junior bowlers are encouraged to attend free training on Friday and also come and roll-up when time permits with supervision. Juniors are welcome to bowl in weekly comps once they reach the appropriate standard. Asquith Bowling and Recreation Club through the local area participates in carnivals where the juniors may go on to play at higher levels against other juniors.
Dual: If you are member of another Club and wish to remain there, you may join at Asquith Bowling and Recreation Club as a dual member where you will be able to bowl (and receive member benefits) in all tournaments with the exception of the Club Championships.
Introduction: If you are not certain about bowls then the three-month introduction to bowls may be the ideal “toe in the water” for a start up fee of $30.
As an introductory member you will be provided with up to 10 coaching lessons and if you are keen to progress onto full bowling membership, you only need to pay the difference between introductory and full bowling, currently $80 difference.
Membership forms need to be completed then brought into the club with payment during business hours. Proof of ID will be required, and a seniors card if applicable. Membership forms are also available in the stands in front of the club reception.
You will be required to have your picture taken for your membership card.

Please note: If you live within 5kms of the club you are required by law to either become a member of the club or be signed into the club as a guest of a member in order to enjoy the facilities.
